Once you have connected your Youtube channel to your BrandConnected account, you can start by scheduling your videos from BrandConnected. Schedule both a regular video or YouTube Shorts from the same space. Just upload your content and the tool will take care of the rest. As per the platform's rules, at once we can publish from only one YouTube channel from BrandConnected

So, let’s get started with the process of scheduling and posting your content.

Scheduling Videos from BrandConnected

1. Go to ‘Create Post’.

2. Switch the tab from ‘Original draft’ to ‘YouTube’.

3. Click on the ‘Upload Video’ field and select your video.

4. Select an image from the given stills as a thumbnail for the video or upload an image for the same.

Note: BrandConnected allows users to set up customized thumbnails for their videos. Right now this functionality is available for verified users only. To learn more about how to get your YouTube channel verified, click here.

5. Enter a title in the field given. It has to be within 100 characters.

6. Enter a description of the video in the specified field. You can use emojis in the description as well.

7. You can see the preview of your video post generated by the tool on the right-hand side.

8. Set the ‘Privacy Status’ of the video according to your liking - Public, Private, and Unlisted.

9. Click on Advance Settings > select Content Category according to your video.

10. Go to ‘License Rights and Ownership’ and select the preferred option.

11. You can add tags to get users to discover your video easily. Use keywords in them.

12. Check the boxes given below according to your preference and content.

  • Allow Embedding: Checking this box will allow others to embed your video in their sites.
  • Publish to subscriptions feed and notify subscribers: Checking this option will enable immediate notifications to your subscribers as soon as you publish a video on YouTube.
  • Made for kids: This prevents underaged audience from viewing this video. Enabling this would also remove the ability to monetize or promote your video through different ads.

13. Select a channel for posting the video and schedule your post.

Your video will be published on YouTube according to all the specifics that you have given.

Note:

  • Privacy Settings:
    • Public- The video is available for public viewing
    • Private- The video is available to those who have access to the channel
    • Unlisted- People with the link will be able to see the video
  • License Rights and Ownership:
    • Standard YouTube License- The video will be available for watching purposes on YouTube but cannot be repurposed and distributed without your consent.
    • Creative Commons- The video can be used to make newer content, but with mention of the original author and copyrights must be there.
